Saint-Malo, is the perfect place to watch the big tides. It
offers a view that covers the islands of Grand Bé, Petit Bé
and the mouth of the Rance River estuary, providing inde-
scribable views at both high and low tide. At sunset, when
the alleys light up and the horizon disappears, a truly in-
credible show begins. In the Paramé district, which over-
looks the long beach, the Rochebonne dam is another ideal
place to enjoy this impressive natural phenomenon, of the
waves covering the dam.
