stars such as Lauren Bacall, Greta Garbo or Marlene Dietrich
openly expressed their passion for mademoiselle Coco.
Garments, accessories, perfumes… her fashion legacy in-
cludes iconic pieces such as the little black dress, the
Chanel No. 5 perfume, the 2.55 bag, the knitted sweater,
the pearl necklaces and the tweed skirt and jacket suits. In
addition, she reinvented the cut of the skirt by making it a
little shorter than the classical one.
Chanel was, in short, a strong woman that lived to the max-
imum her potential and that radically changed the reigning
mentality, granting movement and freedom to women with-
out sacrificing good taste and class.
