We have recently seen you in the thriller Parot, with a
somewhat dark character, are you moving away from
soap operas?
It was a gift from the pandemic. After months locked up at
home, they called me to do Parot and I devoured the first
4 chapters they gave me. I know how the producer Onza
works and the cast had also caught my attention. Blanca
Portillo is an actress whom I have followed for years, and it

ing and a partner who wants to play on set. The same thing
happened to me with Iván Masagué. In Parot we go back to
looking for characters who have a dark side and put you to
the test. I had recently been a torturer in Sr. Ávila, then in
Falco a guy who went into a coma and Pedro de Alvarado in
Hernán. It's the line I wanted to be on. I enjoyed it a lot, they
are series that I´m very proud of, but it's not that I'm moving
away from soap operas, I'm not afraid of the genre. There
are things that are done well and things that are not. One
decides to be part of them or not. Now I have finished shoot-
ing Pálpito, a very interesting series about organ trafficking.
And sometimes we need to freshen up a bit and do some-
